The Khoi San people named this valley Camdeboo, a phrase meaning ‘green valley’. The Camdeboo Valley is abundant in plant and animal life. They have a rich birdlife as well. Clear rivers and lakes flow peacefully through the valley. It is definitely a place filled with beauty and splendour.
